Brazil drafts a notification on adoption of previously notified draft on technical regulation of identity and quality for mature beef and hamburgers

The technical regulation of identity and quality for mature beef indicating the sale name, preparation of mature beef, packing temperature, labeling, Microbiological criteria, Organic and inorganic contaminants which was proposed in MAPA/SDA Ordinance No. 406 on September 28, 2021 and published as G/TBT/N/BRA/1269, was adopted as MAPA/SDA Ordinance No. 723 on December 23, 2022. And the technical regulation of identity and quality for hamburger, indicating the sale name, preparation of hamburger, physical-chemical parameters, sensory characteristics, Organic and inorganic contaminants,  storage condition was proposed in MAPA/SDA Ordinance No. 420, 15 October 2021 was adopted as MAPA/SDA Ordinance No. 724, 23 December 2022. These Ordinance enters into force on January 2, 2023.
