The Argentine Ministries of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries and Health Quality published Joint Resolution No. 8/2023 on April 24, 2023 to establish guidelines for the use of high fructose corn syrup.
After being published in the Official Gazette, the resolution becomes effective the next day. The essential components are:
(1) Defined: the end result of starch hydrolysis by enzymes and refining procedures.
(2) Traits: crystallization; low viscosity; colorless liquid; high sweetness.
