FSANZ seeks submission on IFF’s A1266 for Endo-1,4-beta-xylanase from GM Trichoderma reesei

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed IFF Australia’s application to amend the food standards code to allow endo-1,4-beta-xylanase from a genetically modified strain of Trichoderma reesei for starch processing and potable alcohol production. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure and is now seeking submissions for consideration. Last date for submission is 10 July 2023.
