Australia notifies about amendment of Food Standards Code for Schedule 20

Schedule 20 of Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code is being proposed to be changed (15 November 2022) by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). |The purpose of this proposal is to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code in order to bring the following maximum residue limits (MRLs) for different agricultural and veterinary chemicals into compliance with other national regulations pertaining to the safe and efficient use of agricultural and veterinary chemicals: Afidopyropen, Aminopyralid, Atrazine, Azoxystrobin, Bifenthrin, Bixlozone, Butafenacil, Clomazone, Clopyralid, Clothianidin, Cyhalothrin, Cypermethrin, Diafenthiuron, Dimpropyridaz, Emamectin, Flonicamid, Florylpicoxamid, Fludioxonil, Fluquinconazole, Flutriafol, Glufosinate and Glufosinate-ammonium, Glyphosate, Halauxifen-methyl, Haloxyfop, Imazamox, Imazapic, Imazapyr, Imidacloprid, Iprodione, Isocycloseram, Linuron, Maldison, Mefentrifluconazole, Methomyl, Metolachlor, Metribuzin, Napropamide, Oryzalin, Penflufen, Permethrin, Pirimicarb, Procymidone, Propyzamide, Prothioconazole, Pydiflumetofen, Quizalofop-ethyl, Quizalofop-p-tefuryl, Sedaxane, Sethoxydim, Simazine, Spinetoram, Sulfoxaflor, Tebuconazole, Terbuthylazine, Tetraniliprole, Thiamethoxam, Tiafenacil and Trifloxystrobin in specified plant commodities. | Dimpropyridaz, Florylpicoxamid, Isocycloseram and Tetraniliprole in specified animal commodities.
