EU amends the regulation EU No.231/2012 and has added the specification for Rebaudioside M produced by enzyme modification of steviol glycosides from Stevia. The new production process invloves enzymatic conversion through multistep enzymatic process followed by a series of purification and isolation steps to obtain the final produce.
