EU amends the regulation EU No.231/2012 and has added the specification for Rebaudioside D produced via enzymatic conversion of purified stevia leaf extracts. The new production process invloves enzymatic conversion through multistep enzymatic process followed by a series of purification and isolation steps to obtain the final produce.
