EU amends the regulation EU No.231/2012 and has added the specification for Rebaudioside AM produced via enzymatic conversion of purified stevia leaf extracts. The new production process invloves enzymatic conversion through multistep enzymatic process followed by a series of purification and isolation steps to obtain the final produce.
