EU establishes usage limit for Ascorbic acid in Tuna

The European Commission established the limit for ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate for unprocessed fish and processed fish and fishery products including molluscs and crustaceans. It can be used singly or in combination along with Sodium ascorbate and Calcium ascorbate, the maximum limit applies to the sum expressed as ascorbic acid.
