Brazil republished resolution -RDC number 715

Brazil has rectified the Resolution -RDC number 715, 01 July 2022 that contains provisions on the sanitary requirements of on low sodium salt, foods for weight control, foods for diets with nutrient restriction, and foods for diets with a controlled intake of sugars. The defination for food for weight gain by addition to meals is changed to "weight control food intended for weight gain by adding up to two servings daily" from "weight control food intended for weight gain by adding up to two meals daily". The rectification also includes slight change in labelling. Bold cautionary warning should be given in the foods for weight reduction by total replacement of meals, such as "Consume only under the supervision of a doctor and/or nutritionist".
