Brazil established the phytosanitary requirements for importing zucchini seeds (Cucurbita pepo) from any source, with the exception of MERCOSUR

Brazil with the ORDINANCE SDA NO. 715, OF DECEMBER 15, 2022, established the phytosanitary requirements for importing zucchini seeds (Cucurbita pepo) from any source, with the exception of MERCOSUR. According to this: 

Article 1. The phytosanitary requirements are established for the importation of seeds (Category 4) of zucchini (Cucurbita pepo), from any origin, except for MERCOSUR countries.

Article 2. The seeds must be packed in first-use packaging and free of soil.

Article 3. The seeds must be accompanied by a Phytosanitary Certificate, issued by the National Phytosanitary Protection Organization - ONPF of the country of origin.
