Argentina reviews the article 1293 and prohibits harmful bitter substances for use in food industry.The list of Prohibited substances includes those that contains (a)(a)alkaloids|(b) irritating,drastic or purgative principles|(c) Wormwood since its acive ingredient "Thujone" usage limit is regulated.|(d) Removal of "Ruda" form article 1293 and incorporate into 1294 with usage limit.|The list of permitted substances includes chicory, sweet calamus, Angostura, Holy or Blessed histle, Quassia, Centaurea minor, colombo, Gentian, Hops etc along with specifications are updated.
