Singapore issues pre-import requirements for Infant cereal products

Singapore notifies summary of Pre-Import Control Measures for Infant cereal products. |(1) The new import conditions are:|The manufacturer of the products should have in place a food safety management and assurance programme that ensures :| a) Products are processed under hygienic and sanitary conditions and|  b) Products comply with the Saleof Food Act and the Food Regulations which must be supported by relevant testing and monitoring, including for Aflatoxin B1.|(2) Supplier verifcation: Register suppliers with Singapore Food Agency|(3)Documentary submission for application of import permit: Supplier documentation and laboratory reports need not be submitted, but must be properly maintained and may be subject to checks by SFA.
