Replying to a request to modify the existing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for the active substance triclopyr in oranges, lemons and mandarins, the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) concluded that the short‐term and long‐term intake of residues resulting from the use of triclopyr according to the reported agricultural practice is unlikely to pose a risk to consumer health. Hence, EFSA is likely to amend the existing MRLs of triclopyr in oranges, lemons and mandarins which is currently 0.1 mg/kg.
