Fucine Film S.p.A. has submitted an application for the authorization of a new recycling process to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
The proposed process aims to convert post-consumer PET flakes into food grade sheets using Reifenhäuser technology.
The consultation period aims to identify additional scientific data, studies, and supporting information relevant to the application. Interested parties are invited to submit their comments by June 7, 2023, to contribute to the ongoing review process.
