China notifies amendment of "Additives for Food Contact Materials and Articles" (GB 9685-2016). -The revised standard-
-Amend clause A.12 to "Table A.7, states that silicone rubber can be produced using rubber additives
-Amends Maximum usage/% of Oxidized starch, 2-Hydroxy-3-(trimethylamino)propyl ether chloride in Food-contact paper and paperboard materials
-Modifies chinese name of various additives
-Amends usage scope and maximum dosage of C.I. Pigment Blue 15; Phthalocyanine Blue; Copper Phthalocyanine in food contact plastic materials and products
-Revises Specific Migration Limits and Maximum Residue Levels of Polymer of 1,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-5-isobenzofuroyl chloride and 4,4'-methylenebisaniline
-Changes Specific Migration Limit of 2-Ethylhexanol; Adipic acid, polymer with 2,2'-ethanol ether, 1,2-ethanediol, 1,3-phthalic acid and 2-ethyl-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol and Copolymer of trimellitic anhydride and 1,1'-methylenebis(4-isocyanatebenzene) etc.
-It is open for comments till 20 March 2023.
