Tanzania Issues draft standards for Fruits and Vegetables

Tanzania Bureau of standards issued a drafted specification which will be open for public comments on products like Table grapes, Pomegranate, Litchi, Cape Gooseberry, Leeks, Kiwi, Green beans, Fresh Bitter gourd, Cucumber, Cauliflower and Broccoli. 
The draft includes specifications for each of the product like scope, Definitions, General and specific requirements, Classification, Quality requirements, Contaminants,  Packing, marking and labelling guidelines.
Final date for comments will be April 30, 2023.
