Pre-Import Requirements for Infant Cereal Products set by Singapore Food Agency

December 22, 2022

For infant cereal goods, a new set of pre-import controls will be implemented as a voluntary programme. Aflatoxin B1 testing for each consignment will no longer be required for importers who can comply with the voluntary scheme's import requirements. Instead, they can register their suppliers with the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The current pre-import control methods continue to be relevant and unchanged for importers who do not desire to participate in the voluntary programme.
