Mozambique published code of commercialisation of breast milk substitutes

Republic of Mozambique Ministry of Health Ministry of Industry and Trade has reviewed and updated Milk Substitutes Marketing Code. This code applies to the public and private sector engaged in the production, distribution, commercialization, promotion, publicity, as well as practices related to the quality and information on the use of breast milk substitutes intended for feeding children from 0 to 3 years old. This code applies to the marketing and related practices of the infant formulas, follow-up or transitional formulas, baby bottles, as well as closed cups,  milk pumps, nutrient formula presented or indicated for high-risk new-borns;  infant formulas for specific dietary needs and other products
