Indonesia- Draft Regulation of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency on Processed Food Registration-October 2022

As an effort to protect the public from processed food that does not meet the requirements of safety, quality, nutrition, and labels, the Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) is currently preparing a Draft Regulation of BPOM in 2022 concerning Registration of Processed Food. When this Regulation comes into force (after finalizing of the draft), it will replace and revoke Regulation 27/2017, which gives current legal framework applicable to processed food registration.
