The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) has released a comprehensive report commissioned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that examines food traceability trends.
The objective of the report is to contribute to ongoing industry conversations surrounding technology's role in food traceability. It offers high-level recommendations to key stakeholders on advancing the tech-enabled traceability landscape. The report addresses key areas such as interoperability, support and infrastructure, usability, and cost, and explores how improvements in these areas can drive future traceability advancements.
