The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a comprehensive guide specifically designed to aid small entities, such as farms and small businesses, in adhering to the recordkeeping requirements outlined in the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Food Traceability Rule. This compliance guide, recently published by the FDA, provides detailed information about the obligations imposed by the Food Traceability regulation.

The FSMA Food Traceability Rule was officially issued in November 2022, and all relevant parties are expected to comply with the recordkeeping requirements by January 20, 2026.
