China Proposes National Food Safety Standard Legislation Plan for 2023

The national food safety standard law plan for 2023 was suggested for consultation on March 8, 2023, by China's National Health Commission (NHC). ||

The suggested plan lists 39 food standards in total, including 17 standards that will be created and 22 standards that will be changed. Food additives, food testing procedures, microbial testing procedures, foods for specific nutritional use, contaminant restrictions, and food-related goods are all covered by these guidelines. ||

Last date for comments is 17th March.
