3 new varieties of Food Additives passed the CFSA technical review and are open for comments

According to the "Administrative Measures for New Varieties of Food Additives" and the "Regulations on Application and Acceptance of New Varieties of Food Additives," the application of new varieties of the following Food Additives -
1) Serine protease
2) Calcium lactate 
3) Sanzan gum  
 - with expanded use in the food industry, their safety and the necessity of the process have passed the technical review by the expert review committee. This means that the new varieties have been deemed safe and necessary for the process. The last date of comments to be submitted is May 22, 2023.
