USA establishes tolerances for tetraniliprole residues

Under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) Environmental Protection Agency establishes tolerances for residues of tetraniliprole. Tolerances are established for residues of tetraniliprole in or on grain, cereal, forage, fodder and straw, group 16, except field corn, popcorn and sweet corn at 0.1 ppm; and grain, cereal, group 15, except rice at 0.01 ppm. In addition, EPA is removing the tolerance for indirect or inadvertent residues of tetraniliprole in or on grain, cereal, forage, fodder and straw, group 16, except field corn, popcorn and sweet corn at 0.1 ppm, which is no longer needed with the changes described above. This regulation is effective December 16, 2022. Objections and requests for hearings must be received on or before February 14, 2023
