NHC Seeks Public Input on Three New Food Additives

In accordance with the "Administrative Measures for New Varieties of Food Additives" and the "Regulations on Application and Acceptance of New Varieties of Food Additives," the National Health and Health Commission has announced the availability of new varieties of food additives for public comment. The specific additives include mixed tocotrienol concentrates, edible tannins, and ethyl acetate, which serve as processing aids in the food industry and have seen expanded use.

These new additives have successfully undergone a rigorous technical review conducted by an expert committee, as detailed in the attached document. As part of an inclusive and transparent process, interested individuals and organizations are invited to submit their relevant comments and feedback to the designated email address zqyj@cfsa.net.cn before July 20, 2023. Please note that any comments received after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.
