California OEHHA publishes exposure limits to Acrylamide in Cooked or Heat Processed Foods

On December 20, 2022, the Office of Administrative Law granted permission for the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment to add Section 25506, which was initially proposed as Section 25505, to Title 27, California Code of Regulations. The newly added section addresses acrylamide, which is produced when food is heated or cooked. The rule will go into force on April 1st, 2023.
