Ukraine draft establishes the Requirements on Coffee extracts and chicory extracts intended for human consumption

Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ukraine issues a draft on approval of Requirements for coffee extracts and chicory extracts under article 7 of the law “Basic Principles and Requirements for the Safety and Quality of Food Products". |The draft gives requirements for quality of coffee extracts and chicory extracts which is not applicable to "café torrefacto soluble" product.| It also states that the circulation of coffee extracts and chicory extracts introduced or to be introduced into circulation before January 1, 2026 cannot be prohibited or restricted due to non-compliance until completion of their minimum shelf life.
