Strategies to mitigate food safety risk while minimizing environmental impacts in the era of climate change

This study aimed at presenting the tools to mitigate food safety risk arising from chemical and microbial hazards influenced by the future effects of climate change and thereby to evaluate the environmental performance of food value chains on the other. The two tools-risk assessment and life cycle assessment- can be used in combination to limit environmental impact and food safety risks on food value chains.
