China: Public comments sought on three new food-related products, including 1,6-adipic acid, polymer with (e)-2-butenedioic acid and 4,8-tricyclo[5.2.1.02,7]decanedimethanol

A public request for feedback on three novel food-related products, including 1,6-adipic acid, polymer containing (e)-2-butenedioic acid, and 4,8 tricyclo [5.2.1.02,7] decanedimethanol, was made public on October 28, 2022, by the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment. Three new varieties of food-related products, including 1,6-adipic acid, polymers with (E)-2-butenedioic acid, and 4,8-tricyclo[5.2.1.02,7]decanedimethanol, have passed the technical review of the expert review committee in accordance with the Administrative Licensing of New Varieties of Food-Related Products and the Provisions on the Declaration and Acceptance of New Varieties of Food-Related Products.
