Canada to approve the use of phosphatidylserine as a food supplement ingredient

After completing a detailed premarket safety assessment, Health Canada has notified that it will add phosphatidylserine (derived from soy) in the List of Permitted Supplemental Ingredients in foods. The permitted limits for intake would be 300 mg per day and 300 mg per serving. Public comments on this decision are sought till November 20, 2022.
