Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. Distributes Recalled Infant Formula to Nashville Division Retailers Despite Initial Recall Notice

Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG), a cooperative food wholesaler, is now issuing an additional notice as one of the recalled products (specific lots of Gerber® Good Start® SootheProTM Powdered Infant Formula) was distributed to its retailers in the Nashville Division, despite the initial recall notice being published. The recalled product from Perrigo was distributed by AWG in the Nashville Division to independent retailers across several states. Consumers who have purchased Gerber® Good Start® SootheProTM 12.4 oz powdered infant formula from these retailers are advised to check their products. The recall involves specific Lot Codes and "use by" dates, which can be found on the bottom of the packaging. If consumers find a matching code (as provided in this notice), they should discontinue use and dispose of the product.
